I am a Board Certified general pediatrician concentrating in Urgent Care services. I currently serve as a contract physician at several locations around the East Bay area.

I work irregular hours primarily on evenings and some weekends. In certain circumstances, evening appointments for urgently needed visits with me or my colleagues may be arranged.

Interests

My specialty areas include multicultural care for minority communities with a particular focus on Asian American family dynamics and identity development.

I enjoy speaking at community conferences targeting 1st generation and/or 2nd generation audiences. My goals are multi-faceted, and typically include:

1) facilitating dialogue between children and their parents to bridge generational gaps;
2) increasing awareness and pride in unique identities;
3) encouraging self-discovery and pursuit of passions as a basis for life experiences.
